Skilmálar

Þessir skilmálar gilda um Aflaskráningu (“Forritið” eða “Þjónustan”), sem Fontos (“Þjónustuaðili”, “við”, “okkur”) rekur fyrir farsíma og vef.

Með því að sækja, opna eða nota Forritið samþykkir þú þessa skilmála. Ef þú samþykkir þá ekki skaltu ekki nota Forritið.

Notkun og eignarréttur

Forritið, vörumerki þess, útlit, efni, gagnaskipanir og tengd hugverk eru eign Þjónustuaðila eða leyfishafa hans. Þú mátt ekki afrita, breyta, endurdreifa, baksmíða eða reyna að ná í frumkóða Forritsins nema lög heimili það sérstaklega.

Við getum uppfært, breytt eða hætt að bjóða tiltekna eiginleika eða þjónustuna í heild sinni hvenær sem er. Við reynum að halda þjónustunni stöðugri og gagnlegri, en lofum ekki að hún verði alltaf tiltæk, gallalaus eða samhæf öllum tækjum og stýrikerfum.

Aðgangur, öryggi og ábyrgð notanda

Þú berð ábyrgð á að halda tækinu þínu, aðgangsupplýsingum og innskráningu öruggri. Við mælum ekki með því að tæki séu “rootuð” eða “jailbreakuð”, þar sem það getur dregið úr öryggi og valdið því að Forritið virki ekki rétt.

Sumir eiginleikar Forritsins krefjast nettengingar. Við berum ekki ábyrgð á því ef þjónustan virkar ekki vegna bilunar í nettengingu, farsímaþjónustu, tækis, stýrikerfis eða öðrum þáttum sem eru utan okkar stjórnunar. Þú berð sjálf(ur) ábyrgð á gjöldum sem kunna að falla til hjá net- eða farsímaþjónustuaðila þínum.

Reglur um notkun þjónustunnar

Aflaskráning miðlar skráðum gögnum áfram til Fiskistofu eftir því sem við á. Þú berð ábyrgð á því að þær upplýsingar sem þú skráir og sendir inn séu réttar, heimilar og í samræmi við gildandi lög, reglur og leiðbeiningar Fiskistofu.

Ef notandi reynist hafa sent inn rangar upplýsingar, upplýsingar án heimildar eða notað þjónustuna með hætti sem brýtur gegn þessum skilmálum eða lögum, áskiljum við okkur rétt til að takmarka eða loka aðgangi viðkomandi, tímabundið eða varanlega.

Þjónustur þriðju aðila

Forritið byggir að hluta á þjónustum þriðju aðila. Notkun slíkra þjónusta getur verið háð skilmálum viðkomandi aðila. Meðal þeirra þjónusta sem við notum eru:

Við berum ekki ábyrgð á þjónustu, efni eða skilmálum þriðju aðila nema að því marki sem lög mæla fyrir um.

Takmörkun ábyrgðar

Þjónustan er veitt eins og hún er og eins og hún er í boði hverju sinni. Að því marki sem lög heimila tökum við ekki ábyrgð á beinu eða óbeinu tjóni, gagnatapi, tekjutapi eða öðru afleiddu tjóni sem kann að verða vegna notkunar eða vangetu til að nota Þjónustuna.

Breytingar á skilmálum

Við kunnum að uppfæra þessa skilmála af og til. Ný útgáfa tekur gildi þegar hún er birt á þessari síðu, nema annað sé tekið fram. Áframhaldandi notkun Þjónustunnar eftir að breytingar hafa verið birtar telst samþykki fyrir uppfærðum skilmálum.

These Terms & Conditions apply to Aflaskráning (the “Application” or the “Service”), which is operated by Fontos (the “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”) for mobile and web use.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

Use of the Service and Intellectual Property

The Application, its branding, interface, content, data structures, and related intellectual property are owned by the Service Provider or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application except where applicable law expressly permits it.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service at any time. We aim to keep the Service useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system.

Access, Security, and User Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your device, credentials, and access to the Application secure. We do not recommend using rooted or jailbroken devices, as this can reduce security and cause the Application to malfunction.

Some features of the Application require an internet connection. We are not responsible if the Service is unavailable or does not perform properly due to issues with connectivity, mobile service, devices, operating systems, or other factors outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your network or mobile provider.

Rules for Using the Service

Aflaskráning forwards submitted data to Fiskistofa, the Icelandic Directorate of Fisheries, where applicable. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you register and submit is accurate, authorized, and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and Fiskistofa requirements.

If a user is found to have submitted inaccurate or unauthorized data, or otherwise used the Service in violation of these terms or applicable law, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate that user’s access temporarily or permanently.

Third-Party Services

The Application relies in part on third-party services. Your use of those services may be governed by the terms of the relevant provider. The services we currently use include:

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages, including loss of data, income, or business, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when it is posted on this page, unless stated otherwise. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
